Reflection about using Teaching Wiki: When using many of these web 2.0 tools, it is great to have one place to put projects for the students. I used the class wiki to post Artist Glogs, posted project information and resources, created links to other sites such as art games, and embedded a google calendar of weekly lessons. For this first semester of using the class wiki, I think that it was more of an organizational tool for me. I mainly used it as a home base whenever we were doing work online. In the future, I would love to have students make their own wiki for an online portfolio. I have thought about suggesting this as a tool used in student led conferences to display student work to their parents.
